Notre Dame Academy student to appear in Teen Vogue | Community Spirit
TOLEDO, OH (Toledo News Now) - Notre Dame Academy senior and Perrysburg resident Jordan Conrad will appear in the March issue of Teen Vogue. Conrad won the Paul Frank Teen Role Model contest, and was flown to California for a photo shoot for the issue. Conrad also won a trip to Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in New York City, which wrapped up on February 6.
Conrad was one of five winners from more than 1000 entries. Entrants were judged based on written entries and a Skype interview.
“I try to make a difference by mentoring peers, tutoring after school, and volunteering as much as possible. I don’t drink or go to parties,” Conrad said in her entry.
Conrad is a caption of the Notre Dame Cross Country team and a member of the school’s “Link Crew”, a group of primarily seniors who mentor freshmen. Academically, Conrad is an honor student taking Advanced Placement courses. She plans to attend John Carroll University in the fall, majoring in marketing.
